Car idles funny

car idles at 1200 rpms and jumps up and down all the way up to 1500 rpms does this only at idle. I need help to figure out what it is. My mods are super afc and a home made cai. Please give me a hand i have only had the car for about 9 months.

I had a similar issue with my 92 Talon n/t. Basically, I just messed with the idle screw until i had it perfect. With mine, it was either idling too high and fluctuating, or idling too low and trying to die. I think you just have to find the perfect position for that idle screw.

tried that and nothing idle up and idle down with the screw thanks tho. He is the thing that is getting me the car idles fine when you first start it then take it for a ride come back 10 to 15 min later and it does this. Idles at 1100 rpms and goes up and down to 1500rpms and keeps doing this. I remove the plug on the idle adjuster and it idles at 1600 rpms. Please help is needed bad

Go through this and test everything. It should find your problem.
