Car was running fine then i noticed a big power loss when i step on the gas, some times it would come out of it and accelerate and others it would just bog out. Car idles fine and will free rev until the tps voltage reaches .95 and the engine instantly starts falling on its face and dies. .94v and below the car acts fine. I dont have the first clue on what this could be. When the car is off the tps voltage reads as it should when at full throttle and idle etc. Idk what would just make it instantly die when the tps voltage reaches .95v it doesnt make sense to me! Car is a 92 6 bolt running gm maf in blow-thru, maf gen2 translator, etc mods are in my profile. Car is my daily driver so im kinda stranded until its fixed and of course it would only break at christmas time!! Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Are you logging using anything, I'm wondering how you know your TPS voltage when it dies? If you are logging why don't you post up a log when it happens that way we can see what else is going on in there.

TPS voltage at .94v is barely giving it any throttle at all since 5v is 100% pedal to the metal and nominal at idle (0% throttle) is 0.63 to 0.65v. Since you can't log anything do you at least have a WB o2 sensor to see what your AFR's look like when its r happening? My best guess would be its either going too rich or too lean and shutting the motor off, that could mean you have a bad boost/vacuum leak or the settings on your MAF-T Gen 2 need some tuning. Since I don't even know what a MAF-T Gen 2 looks like I'd say do a BLT and eliminate the possibility of that being the issue.

TheCykotik1, I was dealing with an issue just like this on a friends '91 A/T bone stock aside from a walbro 190 & the air can cut open. It would idle great, but the instant you touch the gas it was stalling. I'm not talking as it revved up, but if the throttle plate moved even the slightest amount the car would die. If you find you issue, I'd be interested in the results.

This is just a guess without being able to touch the car or read a log but I suspect that you have a large boost leak or your MAFt is tuned poorly and you are idling just fine because you are in closed loop until you reach a certain point of throttle where the car switches to open loop and attempts to fuel off of the fuel map which is horridly wrong compared to the actual airflow.

The car has no boost leaks. Maft is set to stock settings just basically translating the gm signal. Has run fine for a year. This just started happening. The instant the voltage hits .95 its like I shut the key off and it dies. Not a miss or anything, just instantly dies.
