car dies almost on start!!

When i first start my car up in the morning it almost dies on me and sometimes it does die. Also when i first start my car up in the morning and let it idle i see white smoke come out but all these poblems only happen the first time i start the car for the day. After i get done driving it it will start up fine and no white smoke. Anyone know whats wrong??

If the car is dying on you maybe its the battery ? alternator ? also check the alternator relay in the fuse box under the hood.
