When I first start my car some mornings the idle drops so low it almost dies, sometimes sputters, then goes back to around 1k and runs fine, it has died once. I also noticed this gurgeling noise sometimes when I start my car, very awful noise, no idea what it is. Any thoughts?

Does it take you a while of cranking before the car will actually start? Will it kinda stumble then start?

I have those problems and it is caused by a leaky or more then one leaky injector. Over night the fuel pressure seaps out aswell as fuel into the cylinders and when I go to start it it takes time to build the fuel pressure back up.

Nah my car starts right up , just as soon as it does it idles right donw to nohting and almost chokes out.

two things come to mind, first whats youre base idle set at? and second maybe there something up with either youre fiav, or the sensor that tells youre ecu its cold out, hold the revs high. In colder weather the rpms should stay around 1500 at start up, if that isnt working properly, and it goes to 1000rpms on startup, it will studder and rpms will drop because the engine speed is not sufficent.

well i live in maine, and its damn cold LOL. The time it did die were extremely cold mornings. The car isnt staying at 1.5 i dont believe but I will check. Especially if i turn the heat or lights on it drops more.

just went out and started my car idles around 1k with todays temp at around 40-45

it idles at 1000rpms when you first tuirn it on??
it should idle higher when its 40 degrees and the enigne is cold...
thats probably youre problem. youre FIAV in the throttle body may be fubar, I have dealt with this before, its quite annoying and changes daily.

weeeee, so what do/shoudl i do?

Try adjusting the BISS screw (idle speed screw) on the throttle body first. My car was fine but I messed with it the other day in a leakdown test so now my car will either stall or come VERY close (like 250rpm) to doing so, so I have to give it some gas on start ups and starting to drive from a stop.
