It's 1.8 and has no mods, it's just a daily driver. Basically what happened first was it would run but not idle (car would just die when you lifted off the gas). Now I can get it to start and run once in a while but even with my foot on the gas a little it'll just die (it's like I switched the car off, it doesn't sputter or anything it completely dies). I have replaced the following:

Throttle body and all the little sensors within it.
Fuel Pump

Anyone have any ideas? It's been a great car and does alright on gas so I wouldn't mind putting a little bit of money into it.

yeah till us what year the car is and how many miles on it???
but with the info you gave ill say fuel filter.maybe ecu depends on how old car is.
do us all a favor fill out your car profile!!!

check maf and all hoses, ive had a Maf and the intake that rottd and I had a hole in it. I just duck taped it hehe

Sorry, I guess year and milage would help. It's a '91 and has 180k miles on it, still ran great thought for the milage (don't have to add oil between changes and it doesn't smoke). Fuel filter was replaced at the same time as the fuel pump. MAF was replaced due to the old one being damaged a while back. I checked it and it appears to be fine still. I was thinking about the ECU as well and will check that out next.

Well, there's some black stuff that appears to have seeped down about 1/2" on the board starting at one of the caps. I'll be picking up a desoldering vacuum and some braid today so I can pull the cap and have a closer look.

Be sure you use a variable heat soldering iron and that you've done electronics work before. Keep in mind though that at this point, just replacing the capacitor isn't going to fix the problem. The traces the electrolyte has eaten need to be repaired.
