Cant turn crank...

Alright so this isnt about my 420A its about my 6G72 eclipse but really dont matter what car so a few months ago i hydro locked it bent 1 and 2 rods went to a junk yard pulled 2 other rods that where in the same motor etc just to get the car to crank again regardless of how it would preform i got the car for 200$ so its really nothing to me i have my main car just wanted it to toy with so any ways after taken the bottom end apart and all that putting it back together i noticed it wouldnt crank at all just click so i tor it down again and torqued it again but noticed that with onel 3,4,5,6 hooked up to the crank it turns by hand, now when 1,2 are hooked up and torqued to 38 like im suppose to it dont turn one bit someone told me that the crank my be done for sadly but visually it looks fine so today i only tightened it down by hand where there is no gap at all i can turn it by hand but is still hard, would this be a damaged crank ?ONLY 1,2 do this the rest are to 38 lbs no problem

Try using the bearings from the bent rods. The new rods bearings are too small for the old crank.
Google plastigauge and use some of it to measure clearances

Maybe try undersized bearings or that would be too risky

Just because the 2 new rods came from the same engine, doesn't mean they are the same rods. turbo and non-turbo 4g63's for example are the same engine, but have much different pistons, not sure on the rods there, but another example would be 6 bolt and 7 bolt rods. Same engine, different internals. This could be the reason for the bearings to not fit right.

On the 6g72 the rods are the same. The 6g72 turbo vs non turbo has different compression Pistons but either will work in either block.

Plastigauge it and see what it says.
