I've read the forums about biss removal but mine is a bit different. Everyone seems to have there problem removing the biss when its as high as they can possibly turn the screw out...My problem is the screw is to deep in with no treads for any tool to grip on. Does anyone know a way to get that out? thnkz

Get a screw, thread it into the BISS and work it out with that. You will need a new BISS though. It's plastic too FYI.

Or if you have the TB out, just drill the whole BISS out all together.

I backed it out as far as I could and then put a pair of needle nose pliers into the head of the screw and opened them until there was pressure and then just lifted it out. That might work for you if I read that right.

Don't think that will work for him reading that he doesn't have a slit for a screw driver.

The only way I managed to remove them undamaged was to remove the TB and stick a paperclip up through the BISS hole on the IM side to push it out.

I had to use one of those screw out tool that you put on the end of a drill b/c the head was rounded out, but it had enough bite to pull it out.(why would they make that screw out of plastic...dumb)

Thanks guys...it was pretty deep in with no threads. So i took one of those skinny screw drivers put it on top of it and hit it a bit with a hammer enough so that it would get in and be able to turn it...Got it out replaced it and now my idle is much better.

i need a biss screw. LOL

Ebay for like 6 bucks with the o ring
