can't get over 20psi on fpgreen

Motor has only 7000 miles on it. Wiesco, eagle rods. So two monthes ago I was running 22psi on pump gas. Got a new dp and exhaust manifold and since I did these last mods my car wouldn't boost over 20psi or so. By the end of third it starts to fall off to about 19psi. I did a compression test and all of them tested to around 168-170. Motor has only 7000 miles on it. Wiesco, eagle rods. Any ideas????

Is it internally or externall gated, and are you using a MBC or EBC.

It is internally gated with mbc. I even tried a different mbc yesterday. I enev pulled the vacume line going to the actuator and still only 20psi

sounds like you have a 20lb wastegate actuator and your vaccume lines to the MBC isn't really doing the work. I'd check the hoses again.

It is a 12lb actuator and I checked for leaks, and found nothing. The funny thing was is that when I pressurized the system I heard a gurguling sound. I drained the coolent pressurized the system again and still the sound. Anybody have any ideas????

A gurguling sound? From the head? Yu either have a boostleak or a blown HG.

would the compression still check out if it were a blown head gasket????

I've heard the same sound from my 14b... I figure it's the o-ring in the turbo... But please do let me know if you find something else... I've been trying to boost over 10-12 psi for awhile now with no success. I have a evo3 16g on the way that I'm hoping will fix it...

If this is the problem is there a way to test it and find out this is where the leak is coming from????
