I think with the Type RS you have to buy a recirculating kit too, which = more $.
Install your BOV onto your upper IC pipes before you install your IC pipes on your car.
Just do it in the correct orientation, it's pretty straight forward.
The fuse box is in the way and it will be an extreme pain in the ass to tighten the screws of the BOV after you've installed your upper pipe.
If you choose to install the BOV after you've installed your IC pipes, chances are you won't be able to get the screws tight enough and you will eventually develop a boost leak at the gasket.
Just my $.02....

thanks man for the help going with Type S for sure :dsm: power :thumb:

Just a heads up, but if you replace your upper IC pipes, you'll also need a new BOV.... The stock pos BOV will not mount to anything other than stock IC hoses.

I did an Extreme PSI intake kit, Greddy Upper/Lower IC pipes and a Types S BOV, and let me tell you my car sounded fuggin awesome.
You could hear the turbo inhaling air by the shit ton, and the BOV releasing air back into the aluminum intake.
The BOV sound is really loud, like something out of a video game and I'm recirculating.

There's no need for adjusting that damn screw on top of the BOV, just use an Allen wrench and a 10mm wrench I believe and hold the Allen still while you tighten the nut.
One of the best pair of mods I've done except for the new 3" O2 Housing back exhaust.
My cars pulls hard as hell, and went from 11.5 psi to 14psi steady....
Keep in mind, you'll want to build one of these to do a boost leak test after you're done installing your new goodies. Boost Leak Tester

I believe he was talking about the upper "S" hose with the mesh jacket, correct? The "S" pipe offered by Dejon PowerHouse will not eliminate the stock BOV & location. It'll simply replace the stock throttle body elbow and the stock "S" hose. It would be a good idea, however, to replace all the upper IC piping. The factory BOV does leak quite a bit and by merely upgrading the BOV, you'll instantly notice a quite measurable power increase (due to not loosing boost). Currently, I have a Greddy Type RS w/Recirculation adapter ($179) and it's awesome...It's almost silent. You can only hear a very faint "laser" sound similar to the Type S, but you really have to listen to hear it.

You are correct, Dejon does offer an upper s pipe that does utilize the stock BOV.
The only thing I don't like about the Dejon Pipes is that they eliminate the TB Elbow.
If you have to do any work on your car in that area, ie., replacing the fuel filter, you'd have to remove your upper s pipe and buy a new TB gasket everytime you replace your fuel filter.
I know it's not often, but for a daily driver that goes 100 mile round trip per day, I can rack up a fuel filter replacement in about 1 yr, so I went with the Greddy pipes that use the stock TB Elbow.... Just my $.02.
