cant connect blow off valve now what?

i recently made a custom 2.5 inch custom intercooler pipe that hooks up fine. i grinded down a hole so the blow off vavle could fit fine but if i just put it in the intercooler pipe wont that block off air?

You need to be WAY more specific.

You just cut a hole in your pipe, and you expect the BOV to just fit inside it? What BOV are you planning on using? There are some flanges you can buy that you can weld onto your own pipes to adapt to common BOV flanges, but there's no way you can just cut a hole in a pipe and expect things to work correctly.

A pic or a detailed explanation of what you're doing would be helpful.

what do you mean just put it in the pipe? I always weld the flange on the ic pipe then use a hole saw to cut out the hole in the inside of the flange.

well it is the stock BOV sorry. and cut the hole in the UICP where the BOV goes but i realize i needed to get a piece to cover that hole and connect my BOV after that

a flange for the bottom of the bov? steel, aluminum, or stainless

So i decided to throw out my custom one a buy a set of 2.5 inch intercooler pipes with a place for the BOV to go instead
