Can you use h1c housing on hx35 or visa versa?

I'm concerned about the turbine housing.

I was doing a search on this and found that the bep bolts up to an h1c.
But does that mean h1c and hx35 housing are interchangeable?

With the big and small h1c and hx35 is the exhaust housing all interchangeable?

The reason I ask is I often run into a non wastegated housing from an h1e but they do not mention big or small. So I wonder if it doesn't matter and if it fits my hx35?

As long as the turbine size is the same, the housings are interchangeable between HX35-H1C and HX40-H1E. There are some oddball H1E's with very small turbines, but the H1E's you'll see around here are usually HX40 equivalent's and use a 76/64mm turbine. So the housing would be too big for a typical H1C/HX35.

BTW- There's so many different H1E's that we've still yet to document them all. The largest being equal to an HX40 Pro (60mm comp) and the smallest being equivalent to a 16g-20g. So you won't see anyone describing an H1E as "big" or "small". The best thing to do is verify the MM specs of the compressor and turbine, you can't go wrong that way.

They are suppose to be the same BEP only makes a HX35 housing that will fit the H1C you just have get to bolts and washers to put them together the H1C has 4 bolts on the housing and the HX35 has 6 bolts

DON'T do this. Use the proper hold-down clamps. If you don't have them, buy them....they're not expensive.

It will work.. and yes get the proper holdowns.. any turbo shop canbget em.. or some members with multiple builds
