Looks like a fart can, nylon tubing for a boost gauge, air intake, probably a 14b, and a tubular manifold. Yeah , they're good upgrades, but you might wanna check the turbo, check for cracks in the manifold, and if you buy it, immediately ditch the stock bov for a 1g at least.

I agree with the post above but i would definately swap out that filter. The filter that is on there looks like it has seen better days for sure. The intake pipe looks fine but i would suggest replacing the filter with the K&N filter. It will bolt straight up in less than 20 minutes and will look and sound great, not to metion you will feel a little difference in mpg.
I love mine

Wtf happened to that air filer? Was somebody at the dealership messing with it or is this a purchase from someone who wasn't the original modder?

It seems that those are some standard modifications, although there is an awful lot of rust. It doesn't look like the exhaust was upped, just switched the muffler, which just makes it sound like crap instead of notable performance gains and sounding like crap. ;)

At least the owner had enough sense to keep the bov recirculated! :thumb:

How much are they selling it for?

Looks like you'll allso need to replace tires soon. Also, it looks like the previous owner "kinda" knew what he was doing with a couple of stuff (recirc'ing the BOV, teeing into the right source for the boost gauge).

I just dont know why you would go through the trouble of welding on a fart can which will give no performance gains especially when the car is turbo. Also that tubular mani looks rusted to shit and might possibly have cracks in it.

And also why would someone upgrade the turbo and mani and leaving the stock plastic POS BOV with stock crappy UIC piping? Kinda strange...

At least it' AWD too....

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Just noticed it's missing the fuse box bracket too - easy fix.

 Stripped compresor housing bolts. I've NEVER done that!ROFL

Seems like a steal man, buy it.
Get new tires thou, i see the steel belt. offer 2k if he says no knock him on the exhaust leak and tires.
tell him how much money you'll have to dump into it to get the car SAFE+pleasing to drive.
You could even tell him its for your gf.

i'll try, i promess. english isn't my first language

personally I thnk the previous owner took out whatever he could sell and tried to make it as stock as possible.

Hey i'm fairly new to dsm's (8 months old) I have a 95 GSX with 35000 miles on it and the under carriage looks like new. What are the chances mine will look like the above or did they just park that one in a tub of water every night.

i would offer 2K, bringing up the matter of rust, tires, exhaust leak, and new radio.

now there is nothing they can do about the resut but tell them 2K as it sits or 2500 for new tires, fixed exhaust leak and radio with tapedeck atleast.

Actually they parked it in salt.
The way to maintain that new look is to 1) Not drive it in rain/snow/sleet or any moisture like conditions. 2) Don't drive it when the roads are salted. 3) Wash your car.
Unless you store your car in a garage that doesnt collect moisture good luck. Rust..that $h_t never sleeps.

I have a '94 GSX with 200k on the body. There is VERY little rust anywhere and this is from Ashland, OR where the previous owner took it up to Mt Ashland for skiing nearly every weekend.
Just rinse the thing off and take good care of it and it should look like that. If you can re-paint the underside every 5 years or so it'll last even longer.

This is mostly due to the fact that we would like our forum to look as if it were full of stuck-up, snobby, know-it-alls who would prefer to treat you like a kid in front of a cop who used to get beat up in school.

Actually , I believe it is to help those who contribute . With it easier to read and understand , you will receive more responses . I thought the j pipe off the turbo looked cracked . I would definately check that turbo for shaft play . Also have them remove the timing cover to see the age of timing belt .
