i just bought a 97 gst, the only thing remaining in the engine bay is the block and battery. The kid took everything off clean and the turbo is in good condition. I was wondering if this is a good idea at all. My plan was to buy a 2g 4g63 non-turbo motor and attach the turbo to that motor. I know it has a compression of 8.0 but is it at all possible to change the compression to 8.5 like the GST motor runs? What would i have to change to make this possible if it is at all. thanks

the 4g63 non turbo head has diffrent cams
and you cant put a 420a head on a 4g63 block
