I have it but have not used it yet. I will be using it this April when I replace the valve stem seals without removing the head.

The question is that simple.
If you are taking the valves out then you can just put a socket on top of the big retainer and smack it with a hammer a couple of times (use your balls) and the retainers will pop out and it will come apart.
Putting it back together is another story though.....
I tried one of those and it didn't fit. I bought that Euro Export tool and it worked like a charm. I see you're in state college. If you're up for driving down to York, PA you can use my valvespring tool.
