I recently posted about what motor to go with, n/t block or .020 over that needs to be brought up to .040

reguardless, if I went with the n/t block could I successfully build this with forged rods and pistons and marry it to a 7 bolt head same as the typical 6bolt build or will I run into other problems because it’s a n/t
(Also I wanna go for 550/650 ish wheel power in the end
ps- I’m new to The 4g does and donts LOL

i think the only major difference on the non turbo block is it doesn't have oil squirters.

i think you would be fine with forged internals and no squirters. if you want to use a 2g head on a 6 bolt you have to have the holes in the head, where the head bolts go thru, opened up. the head bolts for the 6 bolt are larger and won't fit thru an unmodified 2g head.
