Resolved Can someone please tell me what this is?

I'm trying to pull my the engine and trans and I came across this (see pic)
It has hydraulic lines running from the slave cylinder to the master and is attached to another cylinder on the transmission.
What is it and do I need it? Can I just rip it out and run a line from the master to the slave?

A little searching brought up clutch accumulator.

It is frequently eliminated. Search and youll learn what it does etc.

All I used as a search was Google and I entered "DSMTuners.com 2g clutch system" I found a picture and it confirmed what I thought the part was. Not knowing what it is doesn't make up for finding an alternate way to get to your answer! You've just got be be creative is all.

I deleted mine with SS clutch line
