Nice that you are trying to teach, I love hearing about Teachers and their students.
My engine building class had 1 student, my son (his VoTech classes never did a engine rebuild). We rebuilt my DD Saturn 4 cylinder (alot like a 4g motor) that I had NEVER seen before in my life.
It just turned over 35k miles this last week. Motor had 260500 on it when it cracked a valve. I ordered a $450 rebuild kit, and it came with everything. He learned and now builds small engines and we smile that the "class" did great, as the car now has over 295600 on it, purrs like a kitten and gets 34mpg.
