420A Can I convert my 99 GS into an AWD N/T?

Hey I was just wondering if I could swap my 1999 eclipse gs 5 speed 420a into a non turbo awd? And if so what do I need and how much? Would like to turbo her down the road but not at the moment. Thanks!

Haha. Yes it's very simple to just go an buy a gsx, able is many people can say i basically built a gsx from the ground up? Not alot I imagine. I dont see the reason to bash him about his question? I personally think a n/t eclipse gs awd would be awesome! You dont see that done everyday so right there would make it cool if he had it. Maybe he doesnt care if his car is the fastest car on the road and hes more focused towards looks than performance.. my one friend has a 420a eclipse rs and itll get smoked by anything but gets more looks than 80 percent of the cars on the road.. the thing people have to understand is everyone has there own preferences guys!! I say go for it man!! blow us all away when its done!!

This was such a waste of time to read. N/T AWD car is stupid. The no balls 420gay would probably not be able to move all 4 wheels and just give up and die. If you truly have this much time and money to waste just buy a GSX or GST and convert it. Ditch the 420a.

leon... i read your mods and people at work started looking at me to see why i was laughing so hard. You say "JDM" 25 times in your mods list,... 2 fast 2 furious. And i hate to break it to ya, but JDM pedals is not a drive train mod, and a painted valve cover is not an engine mod... your car is basically stock. I had a 1 tire fryer before I bought my TSI and I though it was so fast. Then I bought a TSI and my old 420a felt more like a radio flyer wagon... never looked back, never will.

Kheimbach, you will love your GSX when you get it.

OP, please ignore this fool. If you want AWD for cheaper than what you're plan calls for, buy a GSX. If you really want to throw money away to make a inferior car AWD, then experiment with the 420a trans.
