As listed above I have a 99 GS N/T with 98000 on the clock, I have replaced the fuel filter and new plugs. Since the day i bought it (around a month ago) I noticed that around 3k rpm when I am accelerating the motor WOT all of the sudden kicks in and I can feel the power of the motor. I am pretty sure that this isnt the powerband kicking in because it doesnt happen all of the time. Not knowing a whole lot about cars I was curious as to your guys input on what the issue might be. I changed out the fuel filter in hopes of this going away and it hasnt. Possible faulty spark plug wires?? Your help would be much appreciated.
