Are there any performance differences between the first generation and second generation camshafts on the 2.0 Liter DOHC 4g63 engines? The two engines these are out of are a 1990 Eagle Talon non turbo and a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse non turbo.

The 1g are better, but the difference is not worth the time and perhaps money on the swap. Its better done when doing a rebuild, etc.


by the way the 95 eclipse non turbo does not come with a 4g63, and the cams are not even positioned the same.
