cam sensor timing

Hey, I just put some fp3's in and I was bolting my cam position sensor(1g) back up to the head...the paddle on the sensor has a timing mark but I can't seem to find a corresponding mark on the cam. When the cam is timed to 'tdc'(the cam sprocket marks are horizontal and the pilot stud is at 12 oclock), looking from the sensor side of the head towards the cam gears, which way should the timing mark face, left or right?(point towards intake our exhaust)

If the car is at TDC, the cam sensor should be pointing toward the exhaust side.
