Cam Sensor

What years did the cam sensor that is on the right of the head under the cam gear come on?

I am trying to adapt my 97 ECU and harness to that sensor under the cam gear. But I am pretty lost on how to do that. Im sure someone can help me out.

I'm think your talking about the 95 cam angle sensor not sure. Good Luck

Ok I was thinking 95. Is there any way to adapt that to my 97 harness and ecu?

Why not just keep the 97 setup?

Don't do it keep the 97 sensor. The 95/96 sensors are horrible, im guessing that is why they basically went back to a newer style 1g sensor.

Also, if the 2ga CAS sensor ever goes, you have to pull the timing belt to replace it.
