ummmm what would my car do if my cam sensor went out? i had a CEL.....went to APP said it was the Cam sensor position A.....so this has happened since......sometimes it doesnt start....it will turn over and then stumble, shake and turn off.....but after awhile it will finally start and run perfectly....i just had the 14b swap and i just wanna boost it out :thumb: ....but when my car does run without the stumbling and shaking and ruff idling....im running fine, boosting fine, everything sounds GREAT.....look @ my mods too see if that may be ne thing....BTW....stock 2g BOV is on for winter...so im recirculating

Sounds like some sort of intermitant problem, although the cam sensors are usually pretty stable. Check the connections and the wiring first, check to see if there is excessive oil on or around the sensor/connector.

kk.......................ill check ill what ya said......im not gettin a cel ne more and my car has been starting fine lately.........thanx...........if ne one else has some input it would be nice THANX IN ADVANCE :thumb:

When the cam sensor goes bad as i know i have a car that had your issues then one die just quite giving spark to cylinders 1 and 4 so if the cam sensor completly goes bad your car wont start untill then you should be fine with some minor anoyences when it dies or doesnt want to start
