cam sensor rotation?

I can't find this exact answer besides some pictures showing the cam sensor facing wires down instead of wires up like I have on my car
Will this make a big difference?

-you can kinda see mine in this pic and I have the wires and plug facing up

First question...does your car start? If it does, it apparently doesn't make a difference. The CAS is what tells the ECU when to start the ignition timing, the car can actually run just fine if you unplug it while its running. I'm not sure how the 420a CAS is set up, but from the looks of things I'm guessing its similar to the later style of the 2g 4g63.
