Cam sensor off 180?

I am trying to tune my 91 gsx after rebuilding the cylinder head. I didnt pay attention to how I pulled the cam sensor out. The car will run 180 off from itself. No matter which way i put it in. I am trying to tune the car but need to know which direction the thing goes in. I cant find the answer so I am asking. At the shop now. Would like to get this right.

honestly, you can tune around it depending on your EMS choice, I run aem ems and never really worry about it being 180 off, to be honest I think its off right now and was when the car made over 600whp.

Hmmm. I have a stock setup plus some bolt ons. So that kinda doesnt help. Before I go further into tuning I would like to get this right so I am not chasing a problem I dint adress earlyt on.

Got it. Timed it. has power but I have an idle surge. I dont know how the car ran before the timing belt slipped on it. I just rebuilt the top end and I am going from there. Have some kinks to work out. But I just boosted it and it went through the rpms smoothly, ecxept that surge.

I didnt post my resolve yet and wanted to. I fixed this problem awhile ago. When I first built my engine I had my cam gears off a tooth each. Not enough for it not to run but enough to make it idle like crap. Once I reset the tb she ran great.
