Buying this BOV today thoughts?

A: Is it a real or knock off BOV?
B: Is it a good BOV for Higher boost? (15-20 PSI range)

To be honest you are betting off checking the classifieds or craigslist for a real used HKS for around 75 or lower and it would be trustworthy. On the topic of knock-off, the makers have gotten it down to where you can barely tell the difference but yes that would be a knockoff and @ 20 psi it's a hit or miss but I wouldn't trust it.

I would be very leary of that piece. A quick check of the part number reveals an average MSRP of around $240. There's no way a retailer could sell it for 1/3 the price and still have any meat left on the bone. I would assume it's a knock off and move on.

100% chance of it being a shitty knockoff based on how bad the ebay listing is. If looks like someone from china made the ebay listing, its probably a cheap piece of shit part.

It's one thing to have negative feed back, but to respond like that !

If your looking to stay under $100 but want a brand new bov buy and ebay greddy type s / rs and then replace the diaphram with a NRG one. Should be around $60 for both and work perfect.

Do you have an upper intercooler pipe with the correct flange for this BOV? Otherwise I would go the greddy/1G bov route.

Smells of scam. A lot of tags for a simple HKS SSQBOV ebay listing. Just get ahold of STM and get a 1g or Evo III MR BOV

I just wanted to mention another thing I noticed to prove it is indeed a fake.

The badge on a real HKS touches the "edge". The fake HKS does not.

I highly recommend the NRG blow off valve, almost like a greddy type s but improved. and for a lot lower price! Iv been running mine for over a year at 28 psi on a holset. Iv done plenty of boost leak test and i never get one coming from my bov.
