Built motor , evo lll turbo spool question

Ok well here is the deal, I have a 90gst with wiseco pistons 8.3:1, eagle rods,,arp head studs, cometic head gasket , stock head with web 272 cams and dsmlink v3 lite ..ok now here is my question I just built the motor and I threw this turbo on..but I'm not gettin full boost (10psi) till 4,500 rpms ..top end its crazy good so far ...the cast its not tuned, just tuned for idle and cruising , I'm also running 720cc injectors, walbro 255 and full 3 inch exhaust...

Once the cat is tuned iss the spoil gonna improve or my issue its not related to a tuning issue? I always hear ppl saying dhppl on this turbo is In the low 3000rpm so I was shocked to see 4.5k spool time.

Can't really post up a datalog cause my lap top just took a crap tonight. Any idea guys? The motor has 65 miles since being built if that matters. I know cams were gonna affect spool time but that much ?
 
check for boost leaks and also those WEB cams are notorious for being wayyyyy off center so in order for them to work well they need to be degreed
 
Well my tps sensor is messed up, do the car revs up and down between 900rpm and 1500rpm but when its at 900 vacuume is 16 or so, how can I check to see if its the wg ?

the cams i have are installed with stock cam gears so they are not degreed, but i also remember when i had the turbo off, the flapper would move open a bit when i tried moving it with my fingers, it would move open maybe like a 1/4inch or so..how would i make it close?...i heard of people using washers? but where do i put them?

Ok fixed the idle issues now it idles fine at 900rpms or so and I'm only gettin 7 vac

Ok, I put one thick washer on each bolt just to see if itll make a difference on my situation, and well the result was I get full boost at 3,900rpm..LOL awesome , I still can put another washer , so friday ill do that and see if I can get if to hit full soil at 3,600 or so.

I had the car at 15/16psi since I'm waiting on my fp fuel pump.. But with the washers it hit 18 and drop to 17 so I'm gonna leave it like that, I'm just not gonna get on it till the 255 gets here then I'm gonna crank it to 25psi or so
 
k, i know noone cares, but i added another washer to each bolt, so that would be 2 washers pero wg bolt, and car now hits full boost between 3700-3,800 rpm..so that its more than enough., once i dial in the cams ill see what that gets me
 
No sir I sure dont, I bought them used no spec card included I tried finding the spec but no luck, and I still have stock valve train , I'm only revving to 7k . All I know this cams have a great top end..but I don't think the evolll 16g makes power to 7.5k or does it?
 
For web cams: 546/547

valve lift: .400/.385
duration: 272°/256°
duration @ 0.050": 206°/206°

That should be a drop in cam. Web cams other two grinds need springs.
