turbo spool question?

hey really nervous, but i take everything serious, so just need some encouragement i guess.
okay,
before: i had a stock o2 housing, and 3" back RS*R exhaust. dumped extrernal 38mm EWG.
everything was running fine.

so, i got a high flow 2.5 aftermarket o2 housing right?

okay got it all put back together,
turbo back on etc.

the car runs great, just like before. wideband reading good,
vaccuum reading 17 like normal, boosts good, everything.

but the turbo makes a louder spooling sound.
i love it, it sounds good.
but i just wanted to make sure that, thats normal?
can that one little piece of metal really make my turbo that much louder??

There is more flow when going up in diameter on thye hotsided of turbo's.

What you are probably hearing is just the turbine spinning.It's really audible when only have a downpipe on the car.But being more free flowing from o2 housing back.Yes you should hear the turbine better.

so when i ditch this factory intake tube, and get the forced performance 4" intake, is that gonna be louder too?'
heck, id take anything other than stock,
but would that tube increase what im hearing now?

i just am so cautious.

The Fp 4" intake will change the sound a bit also. The tube is a lot bigger than stock, so it will be more open for you to hear the turbo. I don't think the change will be as dramatic as your exhaust housing change though.
