Building a GSX

(Edited bc I posted at like 4am with no sleep): I got a GSX shell (as my first 4g dsm build) I’ve got the full engine, intercooler, ignition coils etc. only thing missing as far as I know is the exhaust and intercooler piping to at least crank it on and get it running, everything in the shell is in it, fuel pump, dashboard stuff, ecu etc. only thing that’s fully stripped is the engine bay. It’s got the fusebox with the wiring harness. What are common things or parts that are missed while building these cars? Idk if there’s a thread on this couldn’t find it with keywords

So fellas I got a GSX shell (as a first ever real car build)with the 4g63T and I’ve been getting parts to refresh the engine yk the rest, it came to my attention earlier today that besides the fact that I have no t-case transmission t case or engine in the bay, I only have the wiring harness with the fuse box. What all would I need to get for assembly to get this car running properly and nicely asides from the obvious stuff like a radiator and a battery? If there’s a thread on this I’m very sorry I tried finding one and I’m still new to the whole website and dsm’s

You may want to make a list of all of the current parts that are on the car. Then we can answer correctly.
Make sure your fuel lines are good now. Try to fix rust now. Get new motor mount inserts.

there are plenty of members who chronicle their own teardowns and build-ups on their own vehicle build threads. I would search through those for clues. Particularly when they want to repaint the bay, because then nearly every part gets stripped out. There are mounts, intake, throttle body, exhaust/ turbo, sensors, lots of hoses, coils, brake plumbing, clutch plumbing. I’m probably leaving out some obvious stuff too. You should figure out if you’re trying to rebuild back to original factory, or some variation of modified. In some ways modified is easier, because of parts availability.
I can see Stapl3’s point here, that you need to get a better sense of what you’re in for. Read through the factory service manual, cover to cover several times, and make a list as you go with what your car doessnt have.

you would need to buy another full car to get that car to run. based on your limited knowledge and limited skills, you should just stop the build after getting another car that has everything you need
