Hey guys, I’m sure there are a bunch of posts similar to this one but I’ve been having fun with my GST so far, and I plan to upgrade this spring/summer. My goals are to get into the 350-400 range or 12s-11s without messing making it too much of a “race car” and still being the main purpose of daily driving and street stomping. I also don’t want to cheap out but also don’t want to spend unnecessary money. I have a family member with an Evo X MR tuned by Boostin that makes 340whp and am also trying to give him a run.

the plans right now are too
    -Link v3
    - Head gasket, TB/WP, ARPs
    -Front Mount (VRSF, ETS)
    -injectors (750cc-1220cc??)
    - walboro. (255-400?)
    -BOV (Tial)
    - AFPR (Aem?)
    - 264/268 cams (Kelford?, BC?)
    -Turbo (E3 16g?, 68HTA?, FP Green?)

Any Suggestions would be cool, I would love to learn if any other combos go well or any supporting mods I might be missing

Maintenance and rewire the fuel pump. Also depends what fuel you want to run since e85 will require about 30% more fuel. I ran a 12.6 with a big 16g on 93 + 2 gallons of e85 with 1000cc injectors. As far as 1/4 mile time, traction will be your biggest fight. 68hta or green will get you to your hp goal, but you can make over 400 with the green.

id say go on bigger end for the fuel system. Incase you ever upgrade in the future. And also its better to runner bigger pump/injectors at lower demand. Rather than maxed out smaller componants.

You'll probably need a clutch too if you havent already. I had a slightly modded 2g and it would slip over 20psi :D:banghead:

oh yeah I forgot to list wideband/boost gauge, that’s actually my next purchase LOL. And I’m an auto cause I settled with what was around me cause of how rare they are getting and I heard the auto trannys are pretty strong but I don’t know much about them

In worn out/stock form they are not that strong and will probably be the first thing that will fail you when you make any real power, they can be built and that makes them stronger than the stick shift gearbox's for the most part.
