Bsek question

I have a bsek kit from street tuned motor sports. In the kit are 3 rings. It's obvious where they all go but one of the original rings in the motor has no oil galley hole and niether does the new one. Should I even bother to replace it? Thanks.

Thats for the rear balance shaft, the one without the hole. No need to change it, if you run the stubby shaft.

Make sure that your stub shaft has an oil grove cut in it. If you have any questions, please post a picture.

you do not have to replace the ring with no BS oiling hole in it. it is for the rear balance shaft, 2nd bearing (back bearing).

the only time you would need to replace this is with an AMS style BSEK, where the oil pump stub shaft is actually a full length shaft with the counter weights cut off and its just a rotating shaft.

i did this with my current engine, we will see how it works. stub shaft, forget about it. just do the other two for the front shaft and 1st bearing on the rear shaft, dont forget to rotate the oiling holes 180* from the feed ports.
