BSEK front cap

I have a really bad oil leak and I've traced it down to the front cap. It doesn't leak at idle but if there's enough oil pressure I can definitely see oil leak down and collect directly beneath the plug on the bottom front case. I didn't put in the BSEK so I'm positive the cap was put in without any kind of sealant but my question is how the motor sits once i clean the front cover of all traces of oil can I simply apply something like RTV or JB Weld around the front plug.

If it's the cap that's leaking then just buy an OEM plug for it: MD092785
Then add a little dab of rtv to the cap before pressing it in.

If it's the castle plug then same deal except it also has an o ring which leaks often:
Castle plug- MD125376
Rubber O ring for Castle plug- MD041021

Also:
Check around the cap for tiny cracks on the actual front case; Some people are silly enough to crack the case while forcing a plug in.

Thanks. Castle plug is fine. I don't know of a way to take the front plug out without taking the front case cover off. I'll give it a shot.
