Hi guys, I bought a BSE kit from Partsdinosaur.com It's a pretty solid kit and I understand what needs to happen, the problem is, none of the parts physically want to let it happen.

There's a small screw on the oil pump inside the front cover, that bi*** is not coming off, and I'm about to strip it. The bearing where the actual BSE goes won't budge.

Is there something I'm missing?? Is there a secret trick I'm not doing? I've poured plenty of penetrating lube/nut buster/whatever on them both, to no avail. I'm at a loss cause I really don't think I want to put this back together without the Balance Shaft eliminated.

The oil pump screw does the same thing to everyone I believe. Here's some info.

The bearings are pretty hard to get out and even harder to get back in. You can watch this video for some demonstration I bought a 33mm (I think) impact socket from advanced for putting the new ones in/taking the old ones out, but using the old front shaft will work fine too.

Thanks SO MUCH man. I figured others have these same problems, but I didn't expect such a good response.

You're a good man LOL.
