Front case install after BSE

So I am putting together my motor and am wondering if I place a bolt in the hole where the old Balance Shaft pulley went? Its hole 14 in the pic.

Its a blind hole. But put a bolt in it anyways. It also helps seal the oil pump housing gasket.

yes put a bolt in there or you'll be leaking oil.

Use RTV sealant with the bolt for extra assurance. I used a bolt with a washer and lock washer.
