Hey everyone. Apologies if this is in the wrong category but I couldn't think of any other place

First off, I decided to take the car out after being put away for 4-5 months for winter. Before it was put away I had changed the oil, changed the air filter (OE), coil packs and lightning cables (iykyk). Car ran great all the way to work. No issues at all. Disaster started showing signs on my way home. Go to fill up and there's an audible hiss from the gas cap when opening. Fill the car, turns on fine and I see a very faint A/T light and voltage light. Almost like they were saying "There might be an issue but we're not really sure". They were very dim and they've never been that dim. Omw home I can feel the car really starting to struggle to stay alive at red lights Almost like we're on 2 cylinders at this point. Friend behind me calls and says I'm leaving a lot of white smoke. Great. I get to my final light and it just shuts off the moment I stop. Try cranking the car, no response.

I get towed home and I first check the oil. Brand new Royal Purple comes out dark grey, with what looks like a little bit of head gasket material. Non magnetic. Before winter I had checked my compression and all cylinders averaged 155. Alternator belt is fine too. Gonna get it tested.

Before I start wasting a bunch of money. Lmk what you guys think it might sound like or if you have any suggestions. Greatly appreciated, And I hate that this has to be my first post :(

Hiss from the fuel cap is normal when the tank heats up during the day, or at least it is normal for my GSX. I don't think that is an issue.

Start with the basics, do you have voltage? Do you have compression? Do you have fuel pressure? Do you have fluid missing?
Alright good. Just making sure since every car I've ever had never hissed from pressure.

I'll be checking all this tomorrow since I get paid and can grab some new oil. All this just happened.

Occasionally leaks oil, timing side saturated pretty good. Assuming it's blowby since I get huffs of air out of the oil cap and dipstick occasionally pops out. PCV works fine but I'm replacing just in case. I do plan on rebuilding in case it's actually the rings or some other. Just confusing me since I do have compression. At least when I checked I did. I'll update tomorrow

The symptom of dim dash lights often points to a failed or failing alternator.
Alright good to know. Just wasn't sure cause when the car is turned on, all the lights light up normally and then turn off once started. So I could definitely tell the difference. Making sure I wasn't delusional
