so is it broken? or can i just somehow put it back together? can i loosen something? then re tighten??? the shift cable appears to be broken in a connection piece... doesnt looks like its broken broken just pulled out..

Take your shifter consul apart and disconnect the cable from the shifter and it's going to take two 10mm wrenchs. Hold the big hexagon piece of the cable with one wrench and the nut with the other wrench and start adjusting. Oh and by the by if you're having problems with getting into gear also check the bracket that holds the shift cables onto the transmission.

found this... i think i will try this
