Hey guys, so I’ve been having some shifting problems in my 2g. I was having a really hard time shifting from first and reverse. Eventually my cable clips popped off and my shifter cable boot came out of its place and departed from the thing that was holding it.
I’m wondering if that boot is worth fixing or if I should just buy whole new cables. If I where to buy whole new cables where would you suggest I look?

These cables are discontinued so if you're able to fix the boot, I'd do that, if not you're gonna sourcing a good used set at a premium.

If it was not functioning properly and the end bushings are in good condition, the difficulty shifting is likely a bent cable or an internal transmission issue.

thanks for the information! Do you know where I would even look to find them though?
