Kels any updates I saw the transmission vid nice,so I know the home stretch for this motor is here:thumb:

That looks really nice Kel. Have to love the 2g body style. How much lower than stock do you think it is set to now in that pic? I imagine you were going for good suspension dynamics more-so than looks, but it looks just right.

Hey what wheels are those?

1 1/2 drop in the the picture didn't really want to slam the car. The Megan racing coilovers have an amazing ride quality I have the stiffness setting in the middle on the rear and closer to hard in the front handles superb;)

Yep same turbo! This time with the killians ported head and the TRE rebuilt clusters. You know Cee I can officially smell the cyclone intake manifold record:sneaky: I can't wait to get this fuel stuff installed I been ready to dyno for a while ready to let the hard work speak because I have been doing too much talking;) Did you notice how those gears fell right in place? Smooth as butter!

Wow I cant wait to see how my rebult trans feels as well. Yes she seems to be shifting and holding very nice. So the cyclone is behaving as expected I see. Where do you have it set for the butterfly valves to open?

Yep get the fuel system done we are waiting to see what she does.:thumb: Will be nice to see the 2.0 l break the 2.4L cyclone record. looks like the hard work and patience are paying off.

What does any of this have to do with a broken wrist pin?? Why is this thread even going still?? Lol!

Lol! Well after the wrist pin broke instead of starting a build thread I turned this one into one. I think its still going because several people like the combination of parts chosen and became curious as to how much power and how the car would behave with the cyclone intake manifold some people including myself still believe in the cyclone manifold:sneaky: it has been a very interesting thread to say the least:p Dyno and track numbers coming:thumb:

Call it the death and resurrection of a DSM!

Man I can't more pleased with how the engine and the tranny has turned out!:) It has taken a good minute to work through the little bugs and also to break everything in right.
