Breaking up at high RPM

Hey, I'm confused. My 90 eclipse is stock becides a 3" downpipe with a 3" midpipe no cat. Car runs perfect, but during the cold weather I have been seeing 13 pounds of boost in 2nd gear and 15 pounds in 3rd. The car breaks up at high rpm when you let full boost hit. Do you guys think I can be running lean on fuel or does it seem like something else any help or advice will be well taken. THANK YOU!

Breaks up as in "it stutters" or as in "it hits a brick wall"?

You might be over-running your MAS, which can make it break up.

Check for boost leaks.. my shit would do the same around 4.5k+. I couldn't do a log for shit without breaking up

I tightened up clamps and stuff.

Also, if you aren't tuned for 15 pounds, turn that boost down homie.

Well in reality if he has no tuning and he is COMPLETELY stock aside from his couple mods mentioned then yes he COULD blow up his engine due to KNOCK from running LEAN.

I don't think so. I had a guy run his car on 20lbs with stock fuel system and 3" turbo back. He ran his car like that for almost a year before it died. If it was a honda, it would probably blow up, but not a 4g63. The only time he would be running out of fuel would be over 6000 RPM, and with a 14b with stock cams and intake manifold, there's no point.

Back to the original question though, it COULD be from running lean, try to find someone near you that has a logger if you don't and log a 3rd gear pull.

its like hitting a brick wall.... I will find somebody with a logger. I am keeping the car out of high boost when I wanna get on it I do not get it to go over 10lb cause i do not wanna blow some thing up. thanks for the advice
