BOV blocked off?

i know some of you are getting anoyed with my threads but im trying to get my post up past 30 and get my 30 days in so i can be a proven member, but i fix my reving up situation, kind of. the guy i bought the car from block off the bypass tube that goes to the maf plastic tube thats goes to the cold side of the turbo like in the picture, and some guy told me on here that this will kill my turbo and my intake, so im wondering how to fix this, because if i hook up a hose there the car will not rev up so do i need to buy a new maf? And again sorry for all the questions and my threads just trying to learn everthing i can from you guys.

Replace the missing hose (that you circled in red in your pic), and then figure out why the car won't run properly.

If removing the BOV from the system is the only way the car will run, you have some fairly serious issues to deal with.

Thats why im asking you guys if you know of anything i can test, ive tested everything i possibly can that you guys have told me, im going to do a boost leak test and compression test when i get the testers.

Not sure if it was mentioned, but add a leak-down test to that list.

My bet is that the BOV is causing a large boost leak for some reason, and blocking it off is somewhat "correcting" that.

Do a leakdown test and let us know what the results are, thats one thing we can rule out once thats done.

I suggest you do whatever it takes to make this thing run like you had it, bring it down to Norwalk next weekend (16-19th) and someone will fix your shit!!

Ok i will look how to do a leak down test and try it. And i might buy a bov from my friend that i know works.

Checked the compression and its good. Going to check for boost leaks when i make one in a few days. And have black crap on plugs so im running rich.
