bought this basic turbo kit - i need an intercooler + a bov now which 1 do I get?

Personally, I recommend the Hahn FMIC. It's a little pricey, but it's pretty large and both ports are on the same side (good for a 420A):

I have a 1G DSM BOV on my car. They're cheap and reliable. TiAL makes nice BOV's, but they're expensive. I used to like GReddy BOV's too (Type-S or Type-RS), but I don't even know if they make them anymore.

Okay ebay turbos are shit, even though we have multiple members running them for years reliably!

They don't as greddy. You can find the ngr bov which is basically a greddy type s but better. I'm thinking of a HRC fmic as well.

Thanks. I hate it when everyone says buy a GSX. I'd buy six of them if I had the money too.

There are a few 1g bov's in the classifieds now. An intercooler with the inlet and outlet both on the same end of the core will help make the intall easier for you.

I'm still using the intercooler that came with my EBAY turbo kit!Not sure what kind it is,but I havent had a boost leak since I installed it.I guess that was a waste of money also!If your not gonna run more then 8-11psi,theres no need to spend a fortune on name parts.Alot of kids that buy good turbos and name parts blow there motors all the time!Its not the cheap parts,its the guy with the wrench in his hand thats in a big hurry to get boosted.Every time someone f---s something up they blame it on ebay!I would buy a GSX also, but anyone with a few bucks in his pocket can get one!

Exactly true, well said! I'm sure most of the big name turbos are made in china anyways too, where do you think companies go to make money? Cheapest place as possible. Nike, Sony, Walmart, etc

I would buy a GSX too but everyone abused them, in my area I can't find a good one at all.
