So I tried to start my car today after putting it back together. I had put a 1g head on it and just cleaned up the engine bay. It will start but won't idle. I have to play with the throttle to keep it alive.

I did a boost leak test and the system holds no pressure. I then tested from the throttle body elbow and there were no leaks, that end of the system is holding pressure just fine.
I then tried to pressurize the intake manifold side and the system held no pressure at all. Nothing registered on my boost gauge. I checked everywhere and couldn't hear any leaks and could see or feel any with a spray bottle. I had the motor at tdc as well.

Could someone give me a little help here?

Have you checked the exhaust while doing the pressure test? Some valves might be leaking the pressure into the pistons and out the exhaust pipe.
What boost gauge are you using?

Yea we tried listening through the exhaust and couldn't hear or feel anything.

No these are crank timings follow the diagram in my last post with crank timing to ensure the valves are closed then try the blt again.

I tested again tonight using different crank angles and I'm still not able to build any pressure whatsoever.

Just realized I used a 2g intake manifold gasket that I bought a while ago, before I decided to use a 1g head. Soooo, I put the wrong intake manifold gasket on LOL. Fml. I'll keep this updated after I swap the gaskets.
