chtown,
its a 90 talon tsi awd 5 speed just put a new motor in it all vacume lines are hooked up and works good except for when i go in to boost it will only go up half ways on the stock boost gauge?? What all could make this do that?? gas pedal not going all the way to the floor?? or my wastegate sticking?? WHat else could it be?? I have a aftermarket boost gauge on its way!!

Stock boost gauge is for entertainment only. Buy an aftermarket and see where you're boosting. I would do it quickly just to make sure you arent spiking to 30 psi.

i have one on its way!! Also i know for a fact its not goin to 30 LOL ya my pistons would be sitting in my oil pan LOL no its only goin to id say aorund 5 psi or so! Just a little kick and thats it! Wastegate sticking sound like the problem???

The stock boost gauges on dsm's from the factory were very unreliable, especially after you modify the engine or change your boost. Chances are when you get your new boost gauge you will notice that it was only the stock gauge that wasnt working. For the time being simply check the settings on your waste gate and boost controller to make sure you have a safe amount of boost pressure. Good Luck
