So I've done plenty of reading here and I know theres 216549163169 threads on boost creep, however none that I have read have really answered the question I want to ask.

My profile is up to date, however I'm still on the stock injectors (I think the profile says EVO injectors). Now I have a 14B that I ported for flow and I did some work to the wastegate passage to help with creep.

Now literally about 15 minutes ago, I decided to do a quick second gear pull. I only have my Hallman MBC turned a little bit, so I'm not 100% sure what my boost is "supposed" to be at. However, when I did the pull I built boost to about 10 lbs, it stuck there for a second, and then it slowly went up to about 15 lbs, then stayed for another 1000 rpms. I let off around 5 grand on the Tach.

This leads me to believe I have the MBC set at 10 lbs for now, and am creeping to 15.

Now since I'm creeping to 15 lbs, does this mean that if I set my MBC to 15 lbs I shouldn't creep above that?? I really want to start learning to tune/log on my stock-ish set-up before I start swapping injectors.

Input would be super. Thanks again DSMtuners!

I believe there may be less posting then 216549163169 maybe 216549163168;D

But I do believe that if you raise your MBC to 15lbs it will go up to 15 and stay.

haha Touche my friend LOL. My thought process has led me to that idea as well, I just like some confirmation on things like this. Thanks for the info. I'm turning my controller up a half turn at a time to try and figure this out slowly but surely LOL.

Hopefully a few more people will chime in.

You can verify its boost creep by sliding off the wga arm attached to the flapper on the hotside of the turbo and then go WOT. In theory you shouldn't be able to build ANY boost, if you do what your seeing is your setups inability to effectively recirculate your exhaust gases around the turbine wheel to prevent it from spooling out of your control i.e. boost creep. :)

...and FYI keep an eyeball on that UEGO going WOT if you run 15psi, those stock injectors might have a hard time keeping up with that 14b. If you do lean out just turn up the fuel pressure at the regulator a few psi over 43.5, you'll get a bit more out of your injectors by doing so.

I have one eye on the UEGO and one eye on the road whenever I do a pull. I'm pulling AF's right around mid 11's. I'm finally getting my Windows laptop running so I can do some logging and see whats really going under the hood.

Good to hear. I say to be conscious of watching that WB because some get so pumped they're doing a WOT pull from 30 to 90 while trying to watch the road, the boost gauge, and the WB they forget to really pay attention.

You figure out if the cars creeping or not by removing that wga arm from the flapper and doing a WOT pull?
