My 90 talon awd with 2g head swap alond with 93 sensors..starts but dies after a few seconds

if I play with the throttle for a bit, it will eventually stay running enough to drive around and restart again.
Compression - good
boost leak test - good
leak down - good


I adjusted my TPS

I feathered it till it stayed running..
then after it was warm I adjusted the BISS acording to the vfaq..
Now it was running at about 800 rpm steadybut rough.
hooked the timing light up..it was little more then 10' out. so i turned the cas untill it got closer and then the car fumbled and died. I did get it to 0' but it wont run. Just starts and stalls again. even at 5' out. Only past the 10 mark on the timing marks would it stay running. even tryed re adjusting the BISS but car wont stay running long enough.

fuel stays a steady 37psi
steady vacuum little less then the 0.5 on the stock gauge.

check the coil pack?
that sounds like what was happening to mine when i fried mine.

ok i got it to idle at 5degrees, but as soon as i touch the thottle it jumps to +15 degrees.

I have another coil pack , ill swap later

timing, beltwise correct? Are you grounding the terminal to do your base 5* timing?

Sounds like ECU doesn't like the '93 add-ons too well ...

I did my research on the 93 sensors, there should be no reson for the sensors not to work. Had to use 93 sensors mainly the TPS cause my 96 TPS didnt wire up to my 90 wire harness, and the the 90 TPS didnt fit in the 96 TB... anyway It should work. Its been done before.

Belt timing is fine , would it be my fiav?

OK so now ive checked everything, except my faiv, the biss screw dosent seem to efect anything, does that mean the fiav is messed? I only have 2 options from what i can see, and that is clean my TB, check my faiv if there is a way, and if that dosent work then I may just break down and hook up my megasquirt.

And yes i swapped coil packs and wires.

My 230hp turbo saturn was sooo much easier to play with
