My car started up fine a couple of days ago. Smooth idle and no hesitation. For a couple of days now it will crank the motor, start (very rough engine shake) and then die immediately. Stepping on the gas just makes the engine shake violently and makes it die even faster.
It decided to not start after I replaced the ignition fuse that blew. I charged the battery and it is full. It seems to stay alive longer with a charged battery but not long (10 sec). My power steering pump is leaking so my alternator could have crapped out? But could that result in the car not idling? The lights turn on but when I use the blinkers it seems like it drains the power from the dash/interior lights. I'm going to change the alternator out tonight or tomorrow and get an o-ring for the PS pump (leaking at the arm). New NGK plugs/wires if thats relevant.
So far I think it could be the following?
1) Bad alternator
2) ECU?
3) CAS-One of the wires (yellow) to the connector is connected poorly. It is almost about to fall off and I can't just splice and reconnect cause it's about to detach inside the plastic connector.
4) MAF?
