Boost creep

What is boost creep?? Must be BOV related because it has never been mentioned in reference to the holset H1C on my Cummins Dodge?

Boost creep is not BOV related at all. However Boost Leaks are related to BOV, maybe you got the words mixed

follow that link. Like Luis said, boost creep isn't related to the bov at all. It happens when for example you run a 3" turboback exhaust without porting your turbo exhaust housing. Other things might cause creep as well. Just read that thread, it should help you out.

Thanks for the info. Diesel guys tend to steer away from wastegates and regulators which explains the lack of knowledge.
