Ok guys, I just got my 60-1 on not too long ago, and have been pretty easy on it, the boost was set around 14psi, and since I was not racing or doing any major driving (as the motor was built not too long ago either) I didn't have much of a reason to change the boost. Also, the performance seemed ok although I wasn't really keeping an eye on the boost gauge during the few times I decided to pull, as it seemed to be at a happy 14psi by the time I hit redline and decided to shift. However, I started doing some tuning, and decided to turn up the boost with my dejon mbc. However, I couldn't change the boost (although I know the boost controller is hooked up right, and worked fine with my 16g about a year and a half ago). As a matter of fact, when I tried to turn it up, it actually went down about 1 - 1.5 psi. The dejon is usually kind of touchy, but this was two full turns. Also, I'm not even hitting boost before redline. It builds steadily up until redline at about 13-14psi. I'm thinking my mbc may have given up on me since the 16g, any other suggestions?

Test run with the actuator fitting open, this will result in all out boost so feather the throttle and keep it below 20psi. If you're able boost past 14psi, the problem is the mbc or the hook ups. If problem persists, I would check for boost leaks, exhaust leaks before o2 housing as well as the turbo for shaft play. Good luck.

I opened up the actuator fitting, same problem. I didn't have time to check anything else, but I'm hoping there's no shaft play. Does this sound consistant with a boost leak?
It could be exhaust leak, boost leak or a dying turbo, my guess would be the turbo unless you have huge leaks which should've been noticeable.
