:talon: First off...the car is a 1992 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. It has a completely rebuilt motor in it. ok heres the deal...i was looking at the car and when i phoned the guy about it he says the car runs fine but while sitting at an idle the car bogs down so you have to feather the gas. the motor has 10 miles on it. i havent went to look at it yet b/c the car is 150 miles away. he said that it is the electric timing(slow spark) but could that be right? i went to a mechanic and he said it could just be a vacume line or they just set the idle too low? b/c if the electric timing would be off the harder you push the gas the weaker it would seem. what do you guys think it is? :talon:

It could be alot of things, ISC (idle speed controller), vacuum/boost leaks, plugs and wires, idle set too low, incorrect air/fuel mixture......etc. can't really tell without additional testing and information. BTW it's "ignition timing", not electric timing. :)
