First, let me start off by saying I searched, and did not find any situation that exactly matched mine, hence the new thread. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
So, I recently got my GST tuned at a shop here in Hawaii. It put down 285whp/283tq at 13 psi on a moderate Dynapack tune. The car ran well for about a month, until one day my wife was driving it and it died on her on the freeway. She said it leaned out up to about 16.8, then the car shut off. She gave it a few minutes, got it to start up, and limped it home.
Just so it's out there, my wife BABIES my Eclipse. She hardly ever hits boost, so I know it wasn't her running the piss out of it. Long story short, I took my CEL checker and read the code.
Error Code: P0202
* Fuel injector 2 is damaged or has failed
I called up RC Engineering and ordered another P&H 750cc injector. I got the injector installed, and now the car runs well, up until boost. As soon as I hit boost, the car builds about 2 psi, at around 3300 rpms, and then starts to sputter and spit. If you drive it without hitting boost, it drives fine I took it back to the guy that tuned it (tuned on an Apexi Neo, with an AEM Digital A/F guage) and he checked the tune and all the settings. All seems to be in order. I can't figure out for the life of me what it may be. He suggested it may be the MAF?
I'm at a loss for now, any input would be greatly appreciated!
